The Green Cross Toad is a European brand that offers four different types of products: the green cross pendant, the silver coin, the silver coin "Blessed" (the religious jewelry), and the women's chain bracelet. The company was founded in 1932 by Anna and Hans Nussbaum. Anna saw a picture of a green cross in a newspaper advertisement and decided to make a green cross pendant for her mother. Afterward, she and Hans decided to make and sell more green crosses and other European coins. The green cross is meant to symbolize hope and health while also connecting back to their Judeo-Christian roots. The company was founded in 1932 by Anna and Hans Nussbaum, who had been looking for a symbol to represent hope since they were children growing up in Germany during the early 1930s. When Hans saw a picture of a green cross in a newspaper advertisement, he immediately knew that this was the symbol he had been waiting for.
