Rebel makes a great lure for top water bass. Ugly bone Jumpin minnow is what I use and it's a great lure. Striped, big mouth and small love it.

Excellent topwater action, needs different hooks.
I have been actively using this top-water lure for peacock fishing. Let me start by saying with a light action rod with a flexible tip you will get a fantastic "walk-the-dog" action and the peacock go absolutely crazy over it. My only complaint with this lure so far is the hooks. Ive found after landing a couple of peacocks ranging from 2 - 3lbs the hooks are beginning to bend outwards and i am having to reset the hooks to their original manufactured position which has now created a weak point in the hook. I will be swapping out these hooks for more durable ones. Overall fantastic top-water lure, just weak hooks.

This thing is like ringing the dinner bell for stripers. If they are around you will soon know. Just do yourself a favor and replace the factory hooks with size 1 VMC 9626 treble hooks.
