I have been taking Omega 3 for about 1 year now, and began taking it when I started my weight loss journey in July of 2014. I kept reading about how much energy I would have, but honestly, I never really felt the proclaimed energy I anticipated feeling. I figured I just wasn't supposed to "feel" the energy, like a cup of coffee, so I just accepted it, but I did keep taking it because of its health benefits (i.e., heart health, reduces triglycerides, RA, general brain function, etc). One day on Amazon, I was searching for a new Omega 3 as I had not yet developed any loyalty to one certain brand. I ran across a review in which someone had reviewed 8-10 different Omega 3 products, listing all of their pros and cons. It was interesting, albeit a little confusing, as in there was NO "perfect" product. In the end, I chose OmegaVia off of his list of evaluations and I have not been sorry. I just purchased my 2nd bottle and think I finally found a "home". I was surprised at how it actually made me feel better - I feel like I can even focus better, I feel a bit more energy, and feel better than I have felt with any other brand I have tried either here on Amazon or other places. (I did like Wiley's, though, but feel this one may be even more superior.) With 1105mg of Omega 3 and 780mg of EPA, it has one of the highest concentrations available. It also has an enteric coating, so no fishy taste, no fish burps and no odd after tastes. Overall, I think it is a fantastic product. Out of all the other Omega 3 products that I tried, this one was the most impressive.

I'm a cancer and lupus and Chron's patient, with lupus arthritis, osteoporosis, and other problems, including genetic high cholesterol. My joints are dissolving. I've had 37 surgeries. My doctor kindly said he couldn't put me on a Statin because I would hurt more. Bless him! He recommended pharmaceutical-grade Omega 3s. At the time, this one stood out above the rest, so I tried it and it brought down my bad numbers 100 points in three months. But I have to take 4 of these a day, and with all my others meds and supplements, it was getting expensive. So I tried some cheaper brands that claimed to have higher numbers of the good stuff. Don't waste your money on cheaper brands. Every time I tried another brand, up went my bad numbers, so I always come back to OmegaVia. The last time I tried to save money, my cholesterol shot up to 325, and my doctor threatened that if I couldn't get it down by my next test, I'd have to go on a Statin. Once again, I got a truck load of OmegaVia and took the 4 pills a day. At the next blood test, my cholesterol was 225. This stuff works, people! It also helps my joints, my aging skin, my Chron's and joint inflammation, my energy, etc., etc. When I stay on this regularly, all my vitals are super great--the same as they were when I was 20. I'm now 65. I do take other supplements as well, like Curamin, the best pain supplement on the planet; but if I didn't take OmegaVia, I'd be on a Statin with added joint and muscle pain. Who needs that? Plus, I asked my saint of a doctor if he would prescribe for me the supplements I need so I can take them off taxes as a medical deduction, which I can do because I always pay out the nose for medical as a cancer & lupus & Chron's patient. If your doctor says he can't prescribe what you need because it's "natural," ask him to list your supplements and write, "John Doe takes the following supplements." This keeps the doctor out of trouble and gets you that tax deduction. That's what my doctor does, and it works. Bless him and bless this wonderful product! :)

I've recently started taking various supplements, including two Omega-3 Fish Oil products - this OmegaVia fish oil supplement, and another product from OmegaVia - their EPA 500 Pharmaceutical Grade EPA Omega-3 supplement . I take one gel of each daily to provide a suitable supplement of all forms of Omega-3. These 'softgel' capsules are relatively large and contain a healthy dosage of Omega-3 -- 1105 mg total Omega-3, with 780 mg EPA Omega-3, 260 mg DHA Omega-3, and 65 mg 'other' Omega-3. The large quantity of Omega-3 avoids the need to take multiple capsules in order to get the same total dosage. There are a wide variety of Omega-3 supplement products available on Amazon and elsewhere. I selected this product for the following reasons: - this OmegaVia Omega-3 supplement is independently tested for purity and potency by IFOS - the "International Fish Oil Standards Program" - to provide assurance that it contains what is claimed. I feel that this is very important. - this is a US-made product - percentage of EPA Omega-3 per capsule is very high (85%) so that the capsule size is not unnecessarily large in order to contain the amount of fish oil and Omega-3 to be delivered - capsules are enteric coated - cost per capsule is reasonable and competitive For a very comprehensive technical comparison of this product to other Omega-3 supplements available on Amazon, I recommend reading RWM's review. He has provided a very extensive analysis. I'm also impressed that OmegaVia has a very informative website with considerable information on the company and its products. The company executives are all identified, the company address is given, and contact information is provided. This is a welcome display of transparency in an industry where many companies seem to be selling questionable products and provide very limited information regarding their operations. The company also sells direct from their website - pricing is competitive with Amazon if you order multiple quantities, and shipping is free. I have not yet used these supplements for sufficient time to determine whether or not they are effective in reducing my triglycerides as claimed. I do not have a triglycerides problem but decided to take supplements as part of an overall program to improve my health and avoid problems as I grow older. I will update this review in 6 months or so if there is anything significant to mention regarding any effect I may see in my own health.
