My son was in a coding class, but it has been cancelled indefinitely because of covid. So this book was recommended by his teacher as a suitable replacement. My son and I liked all the pictures that went along with the steps. He found that helpful in following along. The book explains how to use Scratch and Python which are 2 of the easier programming platforms to use. Overall, would recommend to anyone whose kid is interested in learning to program and code.

Bought for my growing niece. Hoping she will take an interest in a growing anf useful skill yo have for the future.Instructions and exercises help the reader write and understand different coding languages, mainly HTML.

Great Python for kids book. I'm seeing a lot more books oriented towards kids and that's great, but only if they are written in a way that kids will understand. These books are good for that.

This book is not written for kids. The language used is hard for an adult to untangle, never mind a kid. This may be usable for a high schooler. My other issue is the pictures. They are so fuzzy, they’re unusable. Do not recommend.

This is a nice book for a kid and a newbie adult that wants to get the feel of both languages. I would like to contact the author/publisher about some questions but I am having trouble finding their contact information.

This one arrived as expected. Once I got a few chapters in though, I noticed that it’s rife with spelling and grammatical mistakes. Almost seems as though it was written via a translator app.
