Very sturdy phone mount. Keeps even the biggest phones in place with no issues. There’s good peace of mind over speed bumps with no panic of my phone falling. The adhesive is insanely strong.

Work great I also screwed the bottomn to the dash, it’s in my work vehicle so I wasn’t worried about the dash, just using the adhesive it come off, works great in a ford transit 250

As a mobile service technician I spend countless hours in my van driving around town, I use maps a LOT and like to have my phone up pretty much any time I'm driving. I mounted this with screws and oriented it 'sideways' so my phone would be in landscape as I prefer maps this way. After 4 months the plastic around the main pivot began to crack and about 2 weeks after it began it failed entirely. It broke on the top portion of the hinge which is where more pressure would be applied due to the mount being sideways. I really enjoyed the rigid mounting of my phone and how positive of a grab it had, but I think you're best off using this mount vertically.

This is my 3rd Arkon mount I've purchased. Love these mounts. Need one for every car. They are strong and allow you to screw them in so they don't fall off. These are the only phone mount I will be purchasing going forward

So far, this has been the best phone holder I have had. It holds securely and is adjustable to allow regular use, and in my case, it can adjust so that the camera looks out the windshield if you need to document something going on in front of you. It is held by adhesive and screws. I did not even try the adhesive as I did not mind putting a few holes in my dash once I was able to play with it a bit and realized it could hold not just my current phone, but most likely any phone I get in the future. So I made it permanent to avoid having it fall off. I havent seen an adhesive hold anything in any car after a summer of 110+ heat. This is a product update 2017: This still works the best, holds the phone snugly and has not failed in any way. However, remember it is the only unit I have tried where I put screws into the dash. So it is permanent unless I lave a few holes showing. I have tried 5 other cell phone holders, mostly the type that latch onto vents. They all fail or fall apart or break.

It mounts great, holds the phone great, and can be mounted in many different positions; however, the weak link is the thin piece that connects the arm to the holder. Mine snapped while riding down the road after using it twice (two different rides of around 250 miles total).

Works great! The adhesive was absolute trash but I didnt purchase to use the adhesive, the screw on application is why I purchased and it works great. I would say the screws are a tad longer than they need to be but it worked perfectly.

This was exactly what we were searching for. Made to be permanently installed into the dash with screws, won’t fall off like the last 3 suction cup holders we tried. Easy to set phone into it and remove it from holder. 5 stars!
