Can these jars be used for traditional water-bath canning and fermentation, and do the lids provide an airtight seal?

Yes, the 2-piece lid design is specifically for water-bath canning. The vacuum seal forms as the jar cools. It’s also suitable for fermentation and pickling.

Are the metal lids rust-resistant, and what is the best way to clean them for long-term use?

Lids feature a rust-resistant finish. To maintain it, hand wash and dry immediately with a cloth. Avoid soaking or air-drying in damp areas.

Do these jars follow standard mouth specifications for replacement lids and accessories?

Yes, these feature the Standard Regular Mouth (70 mm). They are compatible with universal 70 mm Mason jar accessories such as daisy lids or shaker tops from major brands.

Is the glass durable for use in the dishwasher and freezer, and can it be heated in the microwave?

Made from thick soda-lime glass, the jars are dishwasher safe (glass only) and freezer safe when leaving headspace at the top. To prevent thermal shock, microwave and oven use are not recommended.

What foods are recommended for this jar size, and is it suitable for long-term pickling?

Ideal for small batches of sauerkraut, infused oils, gourmet jams, and artisan mustard. The standard mouth and two-piece lid help provide a reliable seal for pickling, storage, and gifting.

I love the size of these bottles, but the lids have gone rusty and the I didn’t like that the lid wasn’t a full lid! Disappointing!

Adorable Little Jars with So Many Uses

Title: Adorable Little Jars with So Many Uses These little jars are so cute and surprisingly useful! I love their size because they’re perfect for storing small portions, organizing little odds and ends, or putting together homemade gifts. They have that classic glass jar look that makes even simple things feel a little more special. I also like how versatile they are. Whether you’re using them for spices, sauces, small craft supplies, or little gift ideas, there are plenty of ways to put them to good use. The clear glass makes it easy to see what’s inside, and their compact size means they don’t take up much room. They’re also a nice option for party favors, homemade treats, or DIY projects when you want something reusable rather than disposable packaging. Overall, these are a great little addition to have around the house. They’re cute, practical, and useful for so many different things. I’m glad I got them!

There are FAB

Fabulous. I wish they’d come in a bigger size. Love them. Gonna make some shabby material skirts for them to put on my new shelf in my new farmhouse kitchen restyle. First I wondered what I was going to do with them all, then I started mixing paint 😂
