Hi, is there any way of getting replacement erasers for this pencil? I realise I could buy a separate one but I would prefer one in the pencil.

Hi Dominic, I've not bought them myself because I never tend to use the eraser in the pencil, but I have seen them on www.cultpens.com (brilliant site) as 'Uni Eraser refills Type C' product code UN29346 and they are £1.62 for 5 inc vat. Hope that helps - Jules

If shipped from Japan to England, is there any duty to pay on the item?

UK import VAT is charged on shipments of £15 or over (including shipping and insurance), and customs duty on shipments £135 or over. So a single pencil won't trigger VAT, but if you buy more than one item at once from the same seller it might.

Is the body of the pencil metal?

Unfortunately no...I would like it made from metal as well. But it is indeed a good pencil.

I have put leads in where advised but they aren’t coming through. These are the leads which came with the pencil. Please advise ?

Make sure any spent lead has been completed ejected (check the point of the pencil to see if you can locate any remaining lead and pull it out while depressing the lead push button at the top of pencil). Don't put any more than six leads in the pencil at any one time (remove the eraser, insert the leads, then reinsert the eraser and replace the top (push button) section). Click the push button advance as many times as necessary to advance the lead.
