I've been hunting for a good pair of rugby gloves for my 8-year-old son, and I must say, these are fantastic. Firstly, the grip on these gloves is exceptional. Another aspect that genuinely impressed me is how (he says) these gloves manage to keep his hands warm without sacrificing grip or dexterity. We've tried other gloves in the past that either kept his hands warm but were too bulky, or offered good grip but left his hands cold, especially during those chilly morning matches. These gloves strike the perfect balance. The material is thin enough to allow for natural movement and feel of the ball, yet it's also surprisingly warm. My son has mentioned how comfortable his hands feel, even on colder days. After several uses and washes, the gloves still look and feel as good as new. Just what we needed. I ordered the size following the guidelines provided and it fits my sons hands really well, although slightly too long in the fingers. I'm not sure whether the growth ratio of fingers and palms means that he will grow into them or his palm means he needs the next size up beforehand but if they do, the quality is there for them to last. I would still buy again and would 100% recommend.

This gloves are worth every penny. The fit, the durability. Used for the last two sessions of rugby for my little boy and doesn't affect his performance when handling the ball.

I've recently started playing touch rugby and bought these now the weather is getting a bit colder. These do seem warm and are very grippy although I've not yet used them in wet weather. They are quite tight but that may well be beneficial for sports and for layering in colder weathers. I usually wear size 8 and bought Medium. Ive only worn them once so can't comment on durability, if I remember I'll post an update!

Really good gloves

This is the second pair we have had of these over a few years. My son loves them for football practise to keep hands warm. They look smart too

The gloves came with a hole in one finger where the stitching had pulled apart my little one hadn't even worn them. The quality is not very good - I guess you get what you pay for - there is a reason they are so cheap.

Fit for purpose and a good fit!

Ich habe mir diese Handschuhe für das Rugby Training im WInter gekauft. Zum Aussehen muss ich sagen, dass sie sehr schick aussehen. Allerdings fallen die Handschuhe sehr klein aus und der Klettverschluss am Handgelenk nervt ein wenig. Bei Nässe halten die Handschuhe perfekt den Ball durch die Gummierung auf der Innenseite der Handschuhe. Auch besonders gut für Rugbybälle, die keinen Gripp mehr besitzen. Für Temperaturen unter 0° C würde ich sie nicht empfehlen, da sie kein bisschen warm halten. Diese Handschuhe sind nur etwas für nasse Trainingseinheiten.

Die Handschuhe haben auf der Innenseite eine Gummierung, die für ordentlich Grip sorgt. Da merkt man, dass sie für Rugby gedacht sind. Ich nutze sie täglich zum Fahrradfahren. Dafür sind sie, wie bereits jemand anderes schrieb, bestens geeignet. Ich hab sie bei Temperaturen von 15 bis runter auf 3 Grad schon getragen und ich hab den Eindruck, dass die Handschuhe gut darin sind dieTemperatur zu halten und weniger gut darin wirklich aufzuwärmen. Für mich aber optimal, da ich selten kalte Hände habe. Der Stoff trocknet, wenn er nass geworden ist relativ schnell und ist so nach einem längeren Arbeitstag abends für den Heimweg wieder einsatzbereit. Den Punkt Abzug gibt es, weil die Haltbarkeit nicht so gut war, wie erhofft. Ich muss gestehen, dass ich sie nicht in ihrem eigentlichen Einsatzgebiet verwendet habe, als mir vor einigen Tagen eine Naht aufgegangen ist (lässt sich aber flicken). Ich hatte stattdessen einige schwere Sachen aus dem Auto getragen und dabei einmal die Handschuhe eingeklemmt und wohl zu fest gezogen. Wofür die Handschuhe wiederum gut geeignet sind, sind Arbeiten am Fahrrad, wo man etwas Fingerspitzengefühl braucht, da sie auch an der Fingerspitze eng anliegen. Insgesamt würde ich die Handschuhe wieder kaufen und gebe eine klare Kaufempfehlung für den von mir beschriebenen Zweck.
