OMG so far this thing is AMAZING
Just installed this device on my chair and OMG i feel so comfortable. I was skeptical because of the other reviews. but installation was a breeze. 4 screws and bolts and a few clamps and youre up in 10 mins. looks great feels great. I had to make 1 adjustment so the bar wouldnt hit my knee. but it works great now. Im 5'11 230 lbs added to my costco chair. feels like I'm sitting in a space ship.

Good product, works well.
I had some problems assembling it, I misplaced one of the C brackets and used the wrong end of the wrenches, just carelessness on my part, no issue with the product. Now that I have it assembled it's growing on me. It works really well, I have a keyboard and mouse I can move to any point around my chair. It works pretty well. It's not super sturdy, I would use it with a lightweight wireless keyboard and mouse. The velcro they include is still not great, I cut my own velcro and suggest you do the same.Overall pretty decent.

A Total Game Changer
This little device has been a total game changer for me! I work from home and sit at my desk for 6 to 10 hours a day. Sometimes without breaking. A traditional desk stopped working because I would find myself hunched over the screen leaning into the desk, even though I had a riser for the screen. I had to change my posture to get rid of that nasty neck hump I see in a lot of remote workers these days!I bought a new chair and added this little desk. It was super easy to install... I didn't watch the recommended video. It's al pretty self-explanatory.I guess some people have issues with stability, but that is only to be expected with a long board attached to a metal pipe.. no matter how sturdy that pipe is. The support pole raises and lowers, and so does the arm of my chair, so I just meet the two in the middle and viola extra support. The twist and turning of the desk tasks a bit of getting used to... but I quickly found that I can sit in many different positions by muscling the joints a bit.I'm, so happy with this! I wish I had it 10 years ago when I started remote work.

not impressed
Cons-- Catches on the height support adjuster bar under seat- keyboard platform already angling the wrong direction after only a few weeks of use due to weight of keyboard/hands- platform small for use with a full sized keyboard and mouse- cheaply made parts- clamp to hold bar in place once height adjusted is not sturdy and must be re adjusted frequently- keyboard platform very wobbly- not great when trying to typePros-- good concept especially when in a small office and want to wall mount your monitors- ability to move keyboard out of way when not needed- great for small desk- keyboard/mouse don't take up precious real estate

Not built to last
Worked decent enough for a good 6 months until the arm broke off completely. Especially annoying considering this thing was made for the purpose of being strong enough to support itself plus a pair of arms leaning on it.

Wobbly, unstable, but very clever design for the right consumer
I wanted to love this product, but it wasn't as sturdy or stable as I hoped for. Unstable, wobbly, and clearly made for very small people or those who don't need freedom of movement in the legs.Pros:* It was easy to install, despite what some other reviewers have stated. It was intuitive and simple; it just took a bit more hand strength than I anticipated.* The range of motion was incredible. You can twist, turn, and move this thing in nearly any direction to get the keyboard just right.*The mouse tray moves independently from the keyboard tray, which is great!Cons:* Super wobbly while typing. It may be okay for occasional use, but as a professional writer, I'd likely destroy this within a month due to the bounce, wobble, and shaking.* It's clearly not made for muscular legs. The bottom bar that holds the keyboard tray smashes into the top of my thighs. If I move it out of the way, it brings the keyboard too far to the left or right. Changing the design to allow more lift or lowering of the tray itself (not the bar underneath) would alleviate this issue.* It needs to slide left and right for minor adjustments.* The keyboard tray is not wide enough for a gaming keyboard to fit comfortably* Prevents my chair from reaching the lowest point--I'm really short! I had to get a stool for my feet because my legs were dangling!Overall, the product is pretty cool. It will work great for those with smaller legs (I'm a weight-lifter!) or a chair with less padding, which would give more room between the bottom tray bar and the top of your thighs. Yes, you can raise the whole thing up, but then the tray is much higher than ergonomically safe.If they redesign this in the future, I'll try again. Unfortunately, I had to send this one back.

Is a little janky, but works well.
Highly recommend using this if you have a multi-monitor set-up so you ain't straining your neck looking between monitors. This product is a bit janky, but it does the job well since I find myself having to switch monitors frequently.FYI, you're probably going to have to purchase a new keyboard - as my keyboard's wire was too short to accommodate this product's use.
