WenHairCare Sweet Almond Mint - Cleanses, Nourishes and Restores the Look of Hair, No Harsh Sulfates (16 oz)

This is my first experience using Wen, and it has been a good product for me. For the most part, I have only really used it in place of my regular conditioner (so, I wash and rinse with a shampoo, and then use this as conditioner and leave in my hair for a few minutes before rinsing). I didn't fully understand its use as a "cleansing conditioner" until I had been using it as just regular conditioner for awhile, so I tried that and had good results with it, as well - my understanding of it being a 'cleansing' conditioner is that you can use it in place of shampoo, as well. So in instances like that, I use a couple pumps and work it through my hair, rinse, and then use it again for conditioner. I wasn't sure that I would like this method, but it actually left my hair feeling just as soft and clean as when I use regular shampoo, so I think this method works as well. The sweet almond mint scent is pleasant and refreshing, though.... it does kinda smell like toothpaste. Not a bad thing! Just something that might throw you off with how one might normally associate that scent. I also don't fully understand the amount recommended per use - my bottle indicated that I might need 18-24 pumps per use. Well, that is above and beyond anything close to what I actually need. I have shoulder-length, somewhat fine hair. I've only used between 3-6 pumps per use, and it has been plenty. I would think that 18-24 pumps would be for VERY long/thick hair, but also, would result in burning through a bottle in just a couple showers! Personally, I am quite satisfied with just a couple pumps and using it instead of other conditioner, and then using my other (cheaper) shampoo, for equally good results. My hair always feels soft, clean, and light after using Wen.

With having a bad neck, love the all in one shampoo and conditioner. There are others on the market, this one makes my hair feel less fly away and softer. It don’t foam up like other shampoos, that is normal less chemicals.

This is a wonderful product, I have treated hair, this product leaves my hair extremely soft and very healthy.

My hair is very thick and tends to be oily. This tendency been something I've struggled with my entire life. It forced me to wash my hair every day because it would become oily and disgusting very quickly after a wash, which, because my hair is also very thick, would mean I would spend ages on my hair every day. I discovered Wen when a hairdresser friend of mine recommended it for specifically my hair type, And I could not have been more surprised at the difference it made! Since I was no longer stripping out all the natural oils and nutrients from my hair, I suddenly found that my hair was no longer becoming an oil-slick overnight. I was now able to put a few days between washings and my hair was looked amazing! I know that there was some hullabaloo in the news about hair loss a few years ago, but honestly I've now been using this product exclusively for the last 7-8 years and have never experienced anything like that....if anything, I am experiencing the exact opposite: my hair is full and beautiful every time I wash it with the Wen product. Interesting side note: I have a lake house and of course keep my a bottle of my favorite shampoo available in our guest bathroom. Despite the fact that the bottle is clearly labeled "conditioning shampoo," many of my guests make a point of letting me know how much they *love* the "conditioner" that I have leave for them to use in the shower. ;-)

Love Wen Cleansing Conditioner. My hair is fine and sometimes gets oily with other shampoos and conditioners. I color my hair regularly and live in a very dry climate, so it can tangle easily and become damaged. When I started using Wen, I noticed a positive change right away. I've used it for about 8 years. My hair is conditioned but light, not weighed down. My hair grows steadily, stays healthy. Make sure you use as the directions suggest. I didn't at first and I wasn't happy with my results until I followed the directions. So, just be aware. Use as directed to be sure you get the most accurate and best results.

I tried this at my sisters and decided to purchase. It smells wonderful - clean and fresh. It makes your hair feel clean and fresh and very shiny. The down side is that you cannot use it everyday because it can buildup and make your hair feel weighted. I have been using a small amount twice a week (in between regular shampooing) . It is a good "off and on" product
