NiteCore Intellicharge NC-i2 Battery Charging Station

This product is very good. Design could be improved as the indicator text is not easy to make out specifically the indicator for polarity of batteries and button identifiers they are very difficult to read. However the electronics detect polarity and the led indicators are easy and intuitive to read. The unit will accommodate many different battery chemistries and allow user to modify charging schedule, without requiring users to have to delve into charging schedules but allows some modification if user is inclined to do so. I was able to resuscitate several batteries that I thought were dead.

A very functional battery charger capable of charging many types of batteries including 18650, AA,AAA, and C among others. It automatically determines the battery type so it is very user friendly. It is 12 volt compatible but does not come with the cigarette lighter cord and only comes with the 120 V cord. It can charge a single battery which most other AAA, AA or C battery chargers cannot do. The instruction manual that comes with this charger is very poorly written. It mentions blue indicator lights which don't exist. It mentions that the charger turns off when charging is complete but fails to mention that the yellow LED's never turn off. I finally figured out how to read the three yellow LEDS. When you insert a battery if all three LED's blink at once, the battery is defective and can't be charged with this charger. If the battery is capable of being charged, the first LED will blink. After about 30 seconds the first yellow LED will remain on constant after the charger has determined the battery type and the charging method to use and the second LED starts blinking. The battery is now charging. Upon a complete charge, all three LED's will remain on constant and the charger will stop charging. The three LED's never change colour and remain yellow during the entire charging process. Also, this charger will charge two C cells side by side, something that the 4 battery Nitecore model won't do because the battery slots are too narrow.

Good quality charger

Je suis un vapoteur mais j'utilise ce chargeur pour tout type de batterie; Rondes: D,C, AA, AAA,AAAA, 18650,26650,22650,17670,18490,17500,17335,14500 16340 et les plus petites rechargeables à dimention égale à moins de 2 pouces ( moins de 5 cm.). Li-ion, Ni-Cd, NiMh. Jamais essayé Li-Po( Lithium Polymères). Il charge aussi les batteries de Duracell et Energiser rechargeables. Il détecte le type de batterie et le charge de façon optimale. Cons: livraison lente pour moi; c'était un mois mais bon, c'était pas une commande en urgence. J'aurais aimé des batteries 9v en Li-ion de Nitecore et des connecteurs pour ceux-ci sur le chargeur pour nos détecteurs d'incendies. 500 charges avant pertes sur ce système en Li-ion c'est 500 ans pour nos détecteurs d'incendies;) Blague mais utile. Pros: bon chargeur universel pour ceux qui achètent des batteries rechargeable de tout types rondes.
