The Queen's Code- Paper Back The long-standing war between the sexes is the stuff of legend. In TV ads, sitcoms and chick flicks everywhere, we've all seen the images - the long suffering woman and the clueless, insensitive man. But what if it's all a misunderstanding? In this fairy tale for the contemporary woman, Kimberlee seeks advice and discovers a treasure chest of esoteric knowledge hidden within her own family. As she unravels the mysteries of men's behavior in this romantic journey, so will you. As she learns the Language of Heroes, and transforms how she relates to men, so will you. Whether you're in love with men or frustrated by them - or both - The Queen's Code creates a new ethic and approach for interacting with men in a way that honors both sexes. From eight distinct points-of-view, you'll get an intimate look inside the hearts and minds of both men and women as we struggle to understand ourselves and each other. Review: YES! But Read "The Keys to the Kingdom" First - I highly recommend this book, but I recommend that you first read "the Keys to the Kingdom" because it explains some fundamentals about men that will help make sense of what is taught in this book. The way the story is told in "the Queen's Code" is a continuation of the story that began in "The Keys to the Kingdom" I know several reviews mentioned that this book could have been shorter and written more straight to the point, and yes, that is true However, her writing does have a purpose in that it unravels current belief systems to make room for new belief systems. I don't think that would be possible with a more concise straight to the point writing style. When I was researching the book I stumbled upon a PDF document that took notes on this book, "The Queen's Code." I read through the notes and thought to myself "I already know all of this stuff, so this book isn't going to help me at all." I read "Keys to the Kingdom" instead and I am glad that I did, because I learned a lot and it ended up inspiring me to purchase "The Queen's Code." As I was reading "The Queen's Code" I revisited the PDF with the notes, and suddenly I understood the meaning behind the notes. One example is being open, receptive and vulnerable. Most women know that already and we have an idea of what that might mean and look like from a woman's point of view, but we really don't know what that means from a man's point of view, what being open, receptive and vulnerable does to a man, and what kind of openness, receptiveness and vulnerability men desire. Please don't brush this off as "I know what being open, receptive and vulnerable means." If you've had little success in fulfilling relationships with men, then you truly don't know what being open, receptive and vulnerable means from a man's perspective (amongst other things) and you may benefit from the refreshing perspective and explanation this book offers, along with "The Keys to the Kingdom" You're most likely here because you want something to change and get better, but may not now how, and most of the time, what you're resistant to is most likely going to challenge your core beliefs, and perhaps your core beliefs are the reason you ended up searching for a solution to begin with. My guess is that at this point, you don't have much else to lose and just want things to get better. In that case, I highly recommend you start with "The Keys to the Kingdom" (and please ignore the neutral and negative reviews to that book) and then continue with the "Queen's Code." They complement each other in a beautiful way and work together hand in hand to improve your relationships with men. Please give them a try 🤍 I promise, you will have a shift in perspective & understanding of men, and a shift in behavior, which will positively impact your relationship with men in general. Review: Life Changing - In the short time it took me to read this amazing story my whole opinion of men and my husband in particular has changed. I see him so differently and see myself so clearly . Great read! Highly recommended!

A must-read, highly recommend!
What an amazing read. For the consumer who wants insight into relationships without the usual boring self-help rhetoric. This was so eye-opening and interesting, it's the first book I finished and restarted the same night EVER. The first time you read it, you learn so many new things, you want to reread it right away, it's that irresistible, eye-opening, and cleverly written! I look forward to reading more of Alison Armstrong asap.

Best book I’ve ever read
I wish there were 10,000 more of this book. It made me weep, it made me laugh, and in reading it, it changed me and my outlook on men. It has changed the way that I interact not only with men but with people in general. Taught me to be more kind, more honest, to care for myself more deeply and ask for what I need so I can be all I am meant to be. If you are contemplating reading this trust me and take the plunge, it is well worth it!

The truth about men unfolding in every turn of the pa
From my perspective being male, I found the information presented by Alison in her book The Queens Code to be on point. I don't recall there being anything I found objectional. I loved the way the storyline and the information flowed. In my own life, I have tried to convey some of the same sentiments, definitely not as articulate or concise as Alison presents them here. Three things I truly appreciate about this book: 1. It helped me to clearly understand what I was feeling. 2. It helped me to clarify the ideas I wanted to convey. 3. The Queens code speaks to an issue long plaguing male/female relationships and offered a solution. Take aways: - Building up a man gets the woman what she needs faster and more often than tearing him down. - Emasculating men never motivates them. - Open communication, honesty, and setting expectations are important in any relationship. - Sharing with your partner what you need from them and what it means or provide to you when they do it. I love this book. It is a great read and I have recommended it to whoever I believe will benefit from reading it, male or female. I have even bought copies for my girls, ages 33 and 25. My hope is that when they have completed the book, we can have an open discussion about the concepts presented by Alison.

A book to save the soul and save relationships of all kinds. Gives a better understanding of my limiting beliefs and my understanding of men and women. We are truly all trying our best and want to the best for others and this book captures that.

An answer to my prayers
This book was such a blessing. It made me cry many times but I can finally say that I found a blueprint of how to understand men. It took me a week to read it, because I had to pace myself, the information provided was so extensive that I think I will have to read it a couple of times more. Even though I never thought that I emasculated men, this book has really opened my eyes in all the ways that I did. I finally can pin point where I go wrong and talk to men the way they will understand me best. Being married with a man that doesn't share my culture and values, I already know how hard it is when you feel like you need to have a translator for him to understand you. Now I think I finally have the tools to make my husband understand me better, I have thrown in a the towel two months ago, and told God that I was done, that He will have to fight for me. Well now I feel that He has given me the tools to keep trying and not give up just yet. I really want to give thanks to the author, you have really given me hope when I was hopeless. After being this hurt, it's hard to lay down your sword and hope, but I am willing to give it one more try.

Amazing!!
Here is a book written for women about men. I picked it up being a man to see what it would say I am amazed at how well this lady understands how men work. As is noted, all men will not behave like this of course, but as a general rule, when we understand each other we are all so much better off! I speak not only to women to understand the males, but also we as men need to grasp how women operate Even though it was not the focus, I learned a lot about women. The writer clarifies that we all have both feminine and masculine qualities. We both can be strong in one or the other characteristics and even drift back and forth between them That is all good and fine. Just understanding the differences and being able to see them is powerful!! It gives me and all who grasp the concept the power to relate to each other in a more meaningful way The writer uses a story line with several chapters to make the reading very interesting. It is not a text book by no means in how the material is shared. It is totally captivating. I allowed myself only 30 minutes before bed to read it. Now that I am done I am a little sad. It was something to look forward to every evening Thank you Alison for this wonderful work of art that you have created for us all.

A book for every woman
It's nicely narrated and a very good read for anyone who wants to get to know men better or at least, communicate and co-live with them better. I am sure that there are exceptions to many men, but it is certainly helpful for any woman who cannot understand why her communication with another man is staggering.
