My favorite chili sauce
So happy to find this online. It's my favorite Chinese chili sauce. It's not really chili oil, but chili flakes with smattering of peanuts in oil, but has a wonderful flavor. The bottle I received from Amazon was even drier than usual (less oil), but that didn't affect the flavor so I will continue getting it here. Over the years I have used this product the amount of oil varies, but the flavor (which is the important part for me) is always the same.

Wonderful flavor with a surprising crunch. Outstanding.
Excellent flavor, spicy, earthy and different. I enjoy spicy toward the hot end of the spectrum. So far I've had some on Asian food, three egg dishes and a venison stew. Sparked up the flavor of all dishes without exception. The only downside, in shipping a little of the oil wound up inside the packaging. It got everywhere – soaked the label, my hands, and the kitchen counter. This did not affect the marvelous taste.

It's pretty common in Chinese market
It's too expensive. It's pretty common in Chinese market. Only 2 to 3 dollars each one.

NOT the hot oil you get from the typical US chinese fast food restaurant
I was hoping to get the hot oil you get at the fast food Chinese restaurant but this is something totally different. It is spicy but has some burnt like/nutty taste. Not what I was hoping for. I'm sure it is authentic to the region in China it belongs to, but just not to my liking (which is American Chinese fast food)---which I know is not true authentic Chinese but it is what my taste buds are accustomed to. Amazon did refund me this just because I didn't like it so Amazon get 5 stars!!

Expensive Online - but great product
there is nothing wring with the product- the 5 stars are for the product. My issue here is that you are paying 4 to 5 times more than what you would at the local "99 Ranch Market" store (if you have one available in your area). We have one 30 minutes fro here, so i made the drive and $1.99 a bottle. Buy it on line and expect to pay almost $10.

Don't leave your kitchen without it!
OH YUM! A pinch of this will enhance whatever! Is wonderful on hash-browns. And what it does for a fried egg is just miraculous!

I love this one and the hot peanuts it comes with
This has peanuts in it. It has a tangy spicy kick that many of us are used to. I probably can get this at an asian market for 1/2 the price but when there aren't any in the area, you pay for it. I love this one and the hot peanuts it comes with.
