Do the hooks or the eyes go into the wall?

Hiya Lisa I tried that 1st time I bought this item however found them not robust enough to take the tension when stretched + the weight of the net curtain it kept coming out. So to get round that I put small screws in each corner of the window frame and attached the hook to that perfect. Hope this helps you.

It says easy to cut, that's not true. What can I cut this with?

It would be easy to cut if you have a good pair of sharp wire cutters. I persevered with kitchen scissors. It was hardwork but did eventually cut the wire.

I havnt received any hooks or eyes?

Well you should have.... this is and error. return it and speak with Amazon live chat! Ask if they can send hooks separatley.
